Acadimic and Professional Orientation

The UIC is strongly committed to giving its students the best academic preparation possible and is glad to offer professional services that facilitate students’ entry into the employment market.

In keeping with this goal, the UIC’s Academic and Professional Orientation Services (SOAP) works to:

• Prepare students in their last year for insertion into the employment market by offering a course in First Job Strategies.
• Give students updated information – through the University intranet – on all services provided by SOAP: CV assistance; public and private employment offers; job network; master’s and doctorate programmes, etc.

Offer students personal guidance regarding their professional orientation and prospects.

The main goal of Academic and Professional Orientation Services is to give students and alumni enhanced access to the personal and technical tools that can help prepare them for the professional world and give them excellent employment opportunities.
