During the second term, students who have completed 50% of their course credits may enrol in the UIC Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences Work Experience Programme. This programme awards 10 operative credits, which represent a total of 500 working hours.
Work experience programmes may be completed during the academic year, on a schedule compatible with the course curriculum. Students may also choose to participate in part-time work experience programme (4 hours a day), over the course of two academic periods, from October to March or from January to June.
Each Work experience programme must be authorised by a collaborative agreement between the faculty and the companies or institutions involved. Both a UIC professor and an executive from the relevant company will monitor the programme to ensure the satisfactory completion of assigned tasks and the student’s development.
