The double degree in Audiovisual Communication and Humanities is a great combination in terms of providing content, creativity and the means with which to express it. Prospective media professionals, following a degree in Humanities, study the equivalent of three thousand years of human creativity. At the same time the Audiovisual Communication degree equips them with the necessary skills, such as an alert and critical mind, to enable them to successfully transmit what they have learned.
It is not enough just to have good ideas; they need to be carried through to successful completion.
To do this, we must learn how to present our ideas effectively. Our students receive plenty of training in these skills at UIC.
Of course, students who earn a double degree in Communication and Humanities have vast professional opportunities.
