There is a workshop every third term for students following the Audiovisual Communication degree.
The workshop is a seminar given in English by professors from different overseas universities. The aim of these seminars is to broaden students' awareness of the realities of the audiovisual sector in different parts of the world. These classes also serve to underline the international character of the UIC and the importance it attaches to the knowledge and use of other foreign languages, in particular English.
The seminar held in March 2006 and titled Music as a Key Driver in digital Media was given by the visiting professors Jürgen Christ, from the University of Music (Karlsruhe, Germany) and Karsten Kurowski (University of Bordeaux 3).
As well as holding regular workshops, the UIC also promotes exchange programmes with other European universities.
