The Computer Engineering Management Programme (ETIG) at the UIC offers students specialised training in effective software development and business management information systems. This includes the specification, design, programming, verification and maintenance of new software, as well as the selection, installation and integration of commercial software packages and data structure and design. ETIG engineers will learn to master foreign languages, notations, state-of-the-art software development methodologies and communication skills with both users and clients.
The UIC ETIG degree requires a total of 225 credits, to be completed over the course of three years, divided into 75 credits a year, or roughly 25 credits per trimester. The credits comprise core, required, and elective courses designed specifically for this degree.
