By the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptised are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed. (The Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1285).
To receive the sacrament of Confirmation, you must first learn the Catechism. The University provides this preparation in a number of ways. Those who wish to participate must establish their own plan of study. There are many possibilities.
Those who wish to receive this Sacrament should get in touch with one of the chaplains. If you have any questions or concerns, please write to us.
The celebration will be take on May.
