The UIC offered the practical lab class "What Kind of Research Goes on in a Microbiology Lab?" to a group of students at Cardenal Spínola School. The aim of the initiative is to make students in secondary and vocational-training school aware of everyday science.
The Rector Trophy was held on a day marked by good weather and fair play between the participants. The novelty this year was the fact that two of the twenty teams competing were made up of women.
Dr. Lluís Giner, research director of the Dentistry Department, gave a conference at the Pierre Fauchard Dentistry Society on cross-border research and clinical research in dentistry.
Under the slogan Research and Innovation, the UIC will be among the exhibitors at Expodental to make its research and teaching activities more widely known.
