New communication technologies have recently enabled the development of highly effective distance learning platforms. By taking advantage of these resources, we have managed to move a significant amount of our course curriculum to an online format, so that students can continue their studies without needing to come to the University.
This programme is designed to broaden access to postgraduate training in dental aesthetics for those who, for personal or professional reasons, are unable to take two years off to study at the University, but who are nonetheless interested in investing the time and dedication it takes to gain formal and advanced training in dental aesthetics.
The Master’s Degree in Dental Aesthetics does, however, require that students complete a minimum number of credit hours on campus. Students may individually schedule these hours so that they are compatible with family and/or employment obligations.
The programme has also developed an online forum in which students, professors and alumni may post descriptions of clinical cases and independent projects, ask questions, and exchange ideas on topics presented by course professors.
