Devoting yourself to the education of children and youngsters requires extremely thorough training. It may be true that on certain occasions we are called upon to teach or share our knowledge with members of our social circles, but this in itself is not enough: we need to know and understand who, what and how it is we teach.
The three-year certificate course in Teaching at the UIC provides the necessary resources to develop the profession with confidence, imagination and creativity.
This is why the UIC combines both theory and practice throughout the course. This gives the student the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of teaching within the school environment.
