During the first three weeks of September, the UIC organises an intensive Spanish course which is offered free of charge to incoming Erasmus students. To participate in the course it is necessary to send the Preliminary Questionnaire to the Department of International Relations by 30th June.
In
addition to the intensive course in Spanish, courses in Catalan are offered
throughout the year.
Exchange students and Visiting Students must have
previously studied spanish and attained a sufficient level to be able, like
any other student, to study their chosen subject and sit exams in this
language.
Once they are at the University, the only language courses that they can enrol for at the UIC are Spanish, Catalan or program-specific English.
