Oral Prosthetics and ATM

Presentation

Oral prosthetics is a broad area of study that encompasses many subjects and demands complete mastery of specific and complex diagnostic and restorative techniques that ensure successful and lasting dental treatments.

These days the discipline of oral prosthetics constitutes a large aspect of dental health and calls for holistic treatment, among which prosthetic techniques are only one part.

Similarly, implantology has generated tremendous interest within the world of dentistry in the last decade.

Dental procedures that provide both functional and aesthetic restorative treatments and incorporate interdisciplinary approaches have roused remarkable interest in dentistry. Additionally, the vast scientific and technical developments that this discipline has seen in recent years has given the area of oral prosthetics a prominent place in dental literature and scientific publications, making its impact factor much greater than that of any other sub-discipline in dentistry.

Implantology has substantially changed the grounding concepts behind oral prosthetic procedures by offering patients a third dentition that effectively replaces lost teeth both functionally and aesthetically.

For all these reasons, and many more, the Master’s Degree in Oral Prosthetics and TMJ is of invaluable use to recent dental graduates interested in focusing on oral prosthetics and acquiring deeper and more concrete knowledge of the relevant diagnostic criteria and current techniques. This course is also essential for general stomatologists who wish to enrich their expertise in the field.
