The Language Services liaises with different departments on various issues and functions. Of these the most important is the management and supervision of all the translations requested by the university community. It also assists the teaching staff and other personnel of the UIC in the writing of different institutional texts, correspondence and general documentation in English. It is also involved in the translation and correction of texts in Catalan, in a way which both promotes the use of Catalan and guarantees its quality.
