UIC Athletic Services now offer scuba diving. If you are a scuba diver, or would like to train to become one, you can sign up by sending your details to the University Scuba Diving Group (G.U.S.).
Every year in the last week of May, the G.U.S. organises a course to prepare for the first official qualification (Open Water Diver – PADI). This qualification enables you to practise this amazing sport safely and confidently. The third annual course was held in 2006-2007.
Most activities are held on Saturdays on the beach between L’Escala and Las Illes Medes.
