The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya's library was opened at the end of 1997.
Over the last ten years, it has grown at an impressive rate. It has expanded its collection from an initial base of 10,000 volumes to one which now encompasses over 30,000. In addition, it now subscribes to 600 periodicals and has over 1,000 documentaries.
The UIC library's has amassed a large number of online resources (over 500), which enable students to connect to vast databases and access almost all areas of academic knowledge.
The libraries on both campuses (Barcelona and the Sant Cugat) boast a team of highly-trained professionals who are skilled in management and bibliographical research. They are always available to attend to students' enquiries.
Both libraries cover all subject areas found at each campus.
