The UIC presented its own Youtube channel ( www.youtube.com/uic ) on 11 July 2008, within the framework of the University Council meeting. The UIC is the first private Catalan university to have its own Youtube channel, which enables users to share digital videos on the Internet.
Around thirty people who have been working at the UIC for the past ten years received medals from the Rector with the university's new seal.
