Bioethics and Philosophy of Health
-
The purpose of this centre is to deepen the ethical, social and clinical implications of human intervention in relation to life sciences. There is a particular focus on the study of needs and the consequences of actions in the field of health, both in terms of research as well as in day-to-day aspects involved in assisting and caring for people.
-
This interdisciplinary and transversal research area focuses on the reflective and critical consideration of the ethical, social and anthropological components that form part of medical practice in contemporary society, as well as the different states of the person ?closely related to healthcare ? in cases where dependency and vulnerability are especially apparent, as is the case at the beginning and the end of life.
