Post-doctorals grants

AGAUR: BE, TDCAT i PIV

BE

  • Objective: Award pre- and post-doctoral research grants to candidates wishing to study or carry out research at universities or research centres outside of Catalonia.
  • Application deadline: Applications will be accepted in two separate selection phases:
  • The first phase, for projects beginning between 1 July 2008 and 31 December 2009, will be open from 19 January 2008 to 11 February 2008. Candidates who apply during this phase will not be eligible to apply during the second phase.
  • The second phase, for projects beginning between 1 January and 31 December 2009, will be open from 18 June to 13 July 2008.

TDCAT

  • Objective: Assist those who produced and defended doctoral dissertations written in Catalan during 2007, in order to cover the administrative costs and expenses associated with completing a doctoral dissertation and earning a Doctoral degree.
  • Application deadline: Applications will be accepted up to two months and one day following the publication of the corresponding resolution in the DOGC (Official Gazette of the Catalan Government) (19/03/2008).

PIV

  • Objective: Provide financial assistance to Catalan universities and non-profit institutions that carry out research, in order to help subsidise visits from experienced and renowned processors from outside of Catalonia who collaborate in teaching or research projects.
  • Application deadline: Applications will be accepted from the date of publication in the DOGC (Official Gazette of the Catalan Government) to 6 February 2008.
