UIC Information Technology Services take care of a wide range of technological issues, spanning from facilitating academic management to computerising the libraries. It also provides access to the world-wide scientific information network.
When students are enrolled, they are automatically given personal e-mail addresses as well as usernames through which they may log on to the UIC’s technological network. Through this network, they may access the Internet at various areas of the campus by using the service’s technical resources or a personal laptop computer. They may also consult the UIC intranet, which provides additional information on coursework, academic activities and university services.
Information Technology Services provides all students with computer facilities where they make take courses, work, and participate in the scholastic activities organised by various faculties.
