Presentation

Spectacular recent advances in information and communication technologies have greatly affected the working practices of all professions within the world of media and information management. These days journalists are being increasingly called upon to deal with all aspects of the information world and must therefore be aware of audiovisual as well as written formats.

On this basis, the UIC seeks to train future communications professionals in both the technical and humanistic sides of the profession, maintaining an appropriate balance between theory and practice.

With an innovative programme that has recently been adapted to take advantage of these new opportunities, the UIC´s degree in Journalism fosters a spirit of enterprise and initiative, whilst also giving students the necessary tools to learn how to work effectively as part of a team.
