The physiotherapy profession has seen rapid growth in recent years. In light of these advancements, the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya has developed a complete training programme for those pursuing careers in physiotherapeutic diagnostics and treatment, physical incapacity prevention, motor skill impairment and acquired or inherited diseases.
Physiotherapy helps to enhance patients' quality of life and the profession involves permanent contact with patients and the health care service. Physiotherapy is fundamental in many core areas of both care and prevention; this explains why physiotherapists form such an important part of any multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
