Course in Tai Chi, Body Consciousness and Applications for Chronic Pain and Path

Tai Chi Chuan is a traditional Chinese art. Its practice over the course of hundreds of years has demonstrated its important role in the prevention and treatment of several diseases.

The combination of Sun Style Tai Chi and body consciousness can improve therapeutic sessions in an effective, easy and comfortable way.

Sun Style Tai Chi is characterised by:

  • Powerful Qigong (Chinese bioenergetics)
  • The middle step: particularly useful for releasing tension in the knees, balancing posture and improving mobility.
  • Fluid rhythm.
  • Tall postures.
  • Easiness to learn: the movements of Sun Style Tai Chi are simpler than those of other styles and its profundity creates a mechanism for self-correction; those who practise Sun Style can intuit certain movements that favour a stronger connection with the Qi (energy)

Through body consciousness, the exercises rouse the human disposition to change, correct and improve postural organisation, coordination, flexibility and movement, further facilitating the practice of Tai Chi.
