School insurance

All Spanish students under 28 years old who are officially registered on courses at the university will be covered by this plan. The following foreign students are also included:

  • European Union nationals, as well as nationals of the states included in the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA): Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein.
  • Refugees and stateless persons residing in any of the abovementioned countries.
  • All foreign students residing in the same conditions as the Spanish (Organic Law 4/2000 of 11th January, on Rights and Liberties of Foreigners, Article 14).

Students already covered by Social Security Plans, ISFAS, MUFACE or MUJEJU will not be included in the school’s insurance plan.

University students who hold internships in companies guided, authorised and organised by the university will be covered under the plan.

The School Insurance registration is part of the official enrolment process.

Administrative Procedures

In case accidents within the university, Student Services will handle all administrative procedures, on the basis that

  • the accident occurred inside athletic facilities as indicated in the agreement, or in any building or facility on the university campus. 

A photocopy your Spanish personal identification document (DNI), a medical certificate provided by the person who has attended to you, and registration receipt must be presented with the printed application form.
