The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya’s main aim is to make research a priority across all areas of knowledge. It is in this field where UIC’s motto, Veritas Liberabit Vos (“The truth will make us free”), really takes full effect, reflecting a determined effort to foster knowledge that brings us closer to the true nature of things, thereby bringing us freedom.
The principal force behind this effort is found in our teaching professionals who dedicate their time to research and helping to develop free and discerning thinkers, capable of producing new ideas through drawing on the main sources of knowledge: observation, experimentation and inductive and deductive reasoning.
The researchers at this University are capable of representing the UIC in the media, in society and in the most prestigious places of knowledge. It is a way of contributing to the development of science, technology and improvement of the quality of life.
The spirit of research inherent at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya is apparent on many levels, and is seen in its commitment to creating new doctors, in the numerous scientific publications linked to this institution, and in the diverse research projects which are carried out at this University and funded by public entities and private companies.
UIC has recently celebrated its ten-year anniversary and this is therefore a good time to pay credit to the constant work and effort made by our many teachers. The dedication and initiative that they have always shown in their research work is proof of a job well done, of individuals who strive to give their best to this University, to its students and to society as a whole.
