The UIC’s Programme for Visiting Students is available to all university students who wish to study at one of the UIC’s faculties, schools or centres for a given period of time. The programmes do not, however, offer participants the possibility of obtaining a degree title from the UIC.
In contrast to the Erasmus programmes and the bilateral exchanges, the Programme for Visiting Students does not require the existence of a partnership agreement between the two universities involved.
Visiting students can study at the UIC for a period of time ranging from one term to a full academic year. Students can, if they wish, study a further academic year at the UIC once they have successfully completed the assessment process for the subjects taken in their first year as Visiting Students.
As is the case with students participating in Erasmus Programmes and bilateral exchanges, each visiting student is entitled to a transcript of the results attained in the subjects studied at the UIC. However, this does not imply the awarding of a degree title of any kind by the UIC.
